Bobbi Kristina Brown to Make Acting Debut in Tyler Perry Sitcom

Nearly two months after her mother Whitney Houston drowned in a bathtub in her suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel following what was likely a cocaine-induced heart attack, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown is set to make her debut in the showbiz spotlight.

Radar Online reports today that Brown will make her acting debut later this year in For Better or Worse, the TBS sitcom created by Tyler Perry, who reportedly took Brown under his wing following Houston’s death. The report suggests Brown will play the daughter of a hairstylist and that the role is recurring.

WIll the presence of Perry and a great new job prove to be Brown’s saving grace, or is it too soon for her to jump into the Hollywood lifestyle that ultimately led to her mother’s tragic death? Only time will tell, but let’s hope for the former.
