Easily top-10 SF sushi spot, beloved by locals and still relatively undiscovered. Bright, leafy front room belies dark, sexy back room. Fresh cuts and beautifully simple presentation reflects the sushimanship philosophy of founder Eddie Hong. Lantern roll — flounder and shiso tempura rolled in soy paper — is typical of the creative house specialties, though we like omakase (leaving it to the chef). Well-curated sake menu.
