When it comes to stuff white people like, farm-to-table New American fare is pretty up there. Commonwealth is more than that though — it’s progressive. Snarkiness aside, this Mission restaurant is a perfect example of innovative gastronomy in a casual setting that makes Bay Area dining so disruptive. Similar to Bar Tartine in many regards, including its foodie clientele.
