‘Q(uarantine) with a View’: Brooklyn’s William Vale Hotel Offers the Ultimate Isolation Package

When we last heard from Williamsburg’s The William Vale hotel, it was January, and we were thrilling to their dazzling rooftop skating rink. Of course, before spring could officially arrive, lockdown happened, and so the switch from wintery fun to summery socializing never actually happened.

Still, we can’t say enough about the creative ways restaurants, bars, and hotels are helping us to cope with the dystopian world we’re now forced to live in. From makeshift curbside dining on city streets and take-away pouches filled with signature tipples, to the much needed night away somewhere other than your own bed, the hospitality industry has, in the midst of its own overwhelming crisis, gone above and beyond to make our days a little less unbearable.

And now, coinciding with the the NYC hotel scene throwing open its doors to guests once again, visitors from one of the thirty-four designated states on the New York quarantine list are being “required” to isolate for 14 days upon arrival. And The William Vale has come up with a most innovative solution to that very problem.

The sleek, resolutely modern hotel, located just a few blocks from Williamsburg’s proliferating waterfront, has devised the pampering ‘Q with a View’ program, which may just have you welcoming the isolation. Quarantined guests will be assigned to one of two specially designated floors, where cooly stylish chambers feature generous beds with fine Italian Bellino Linens, floor to ceiling windows, and outdoor balconys with such breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline as to surely make you not care that you can’t leave your room for two weeks.

Each room is also done up in serene, neutral palettes, designed to emphasize natural light—especially important when stuck indoors for long periods of time.

As well, the package includes a private airport transport upon arrival, virtual workout classes, contactless housekeeping, and special available meal plans from James Beard Award winner Andrew Carmellini’s NoHo Hospitality Group, delivered straight to your door.

And although the ‘Q with a View’ package requires a 14-night stay (starting at just $250 a night), it would be strenuously recommended to stay a few extra days, to enjoy The William Vale‘s 60-foot outdoor pool, hilled terraces blanketed in grass, and spectacular panoramic rooftop.
