The Pierre

Look past the Corsican name, this luxe HQ is running on Indian hospitality. Taj Hotels broke the bank for renovation, keeps the staff to guest ratio at a hefty three to one. Still stacked with elegant flowers ‘n’ antiques. Generous, noble, basically perfect. We’d kick some life into this majestic site of the notorious 1972 jewel heist, but like a disguised Dashiell Hammett in 1932, we’d have to run out on the tab.
