Casual, “come as you are,” seasonal, urban Italian by chef Andrew Carmellini at Robert De Niro’s Greenwich Hotel. Dishes, like the blue crab toast, sheep’s milk ricotta, and garlic-crusted chicken for two, are reasonably priced and family style, so order a few from each section of the menu. Desserts, too, from former Craft pastry chef Karen DeMasco, are sublime — you’ll end up with the mixed berry fantasia to yourself. It’s a good looking crowd, and a great place to spot celebs.
