Pronounced “shiksa,” this South Williamsburg Mexican restaurant is the sophomore effort from the couple behind Traif. Serving up dozens of small sharing plates that amalgamate traditional Mexican eats with avant-garde techniques, try the Foie Gras Al Pastor or the delectable favorite Spicy Rock Shrimp Gorditas. Down a shot of duck fat mezcal or sample a glass of wine from their 100-plus menu, all organized according to the iconic woman they remind the sommelier of, including Marilyn Monroe and Dolly Parton.
