Buttermilk Channel
Chef Ryan Angulo’s sublime easonal-American-bistro charms with homemade pickles, duck meatloaf, buttermilk fried chicken with cheddar waffles, as well as rotating specials of the day. Actually named for a nearby stretch of Brooklyn waterfront, keeps to neighborhood theme with salvaged pews from local church and communal table from Red Hook warehouse beams. Overall effect is clean, romantic, vaguely colonial.
