‘Black Mirror’ Begs the Question: Why Aren’t We More Afraid? (Watch)

The trailer for the third season of British anthology series Black Mirror has been released, and it appears to hit just as close to him as its predecessors.

The television show originated on BBC Network, but has now come to Netflix as one of the streaming service’s original programs. The modern Twilight Zone-esque series, as it is often described, examines realities in our near future, where, say, video games lead to real life massacres and popularity-centric apps lead to mania. Things never seem to work out happily in these (barely) alternate realities, which earns this show the genre of psychological horror. This season stars British and American stars alike, including Bryce Dallas Howard, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Wyatt Russell.

The six-part third season, which follows a completely new story in each episode, will be streamable on Netflix October 21.
