If you’re a die-hard Jil Sander fan, if you don’t have an iPhone, and if you live in Germany, Austria, Italy, France, or the UK, then run to your nearest LG store, because the German designer has just launched a new smartphone with the mobile brand. In addition to a custom-designed interface and accessories, the phone comes pre-set with an app that includes a store locator, and connects to all of the designer’s social media platforms, so you can live and breath Sander. The question is, will people be willing to cough up the inflated price (€330 or $449) for this phone, or would they rather keep their tech devices generic and save up for actual Jil Sander clothes instead?

The phone’s sleeve comes with a custom leather case in the label’s signature electric blue.

When you purchase a Jil Sander-branded phone, you’re stuck with it for as long as your mobile contract stands. Of course, being “stuck” with anything Jil Sanders-branded is far from torture, but let’s see what designer plays next.
