Jak & Jil Returns to Feed Our Need for Superior Street-Style Snaps

When uber-popular photoblog, Jak & Jil, digitally shut its doors to prepare for a revamp earlier this year, we couldn’t help but feel a little abandoned. Sure, we turned to photographer Tommy Ton’s street-style images for Style.com and GQ in the meantime, but there was always something about his work for good old J&J that thoroughly satiated our need for high-fashion detail shots. (And we all know that copycat blogs just don’t cut it.) Well, we can all rest easy now, because Jak is back!

Save for a new hover bar and a bottomless scrolling feature, not much on the site has changed. One thing we’re sad to see go is the "Archives" section, which housed all of Ton’s classic imagery from 2008 and beyond. Perhaps Ton is withholding his older work because of a possible book deal or, better yet, an Anna Dello Russo collaboration.
