An Unlikely Success Story from ‘The Rachel Zoe Project’
Aside from Project Runway‘s Christian Siriano and Joe Zee from Running in Heels, fashion reality shows have spawned but a few true stars. While the transition from fashion obscurity to fame is rare, Rachel Zoe’s former assistant, Brad Goreski, is proving the exception to the rule. Having landed prominent coverage on Terry Richardson’s blog and a front page exposé in the New York Times‘ Style Section just as New York Fashion Week was coming to a close, Goreski’s ascent has been extraordinarily rapid. So it’s little surprise that People is reporting Goreski’s amicable split from Zoe.
Exactly what’s next for the burgeoning fashion fixture remains to be seen. He’ll likely take on celebrity clients of his own, what with his exposure to the biggest names in the industry. It’s unlikely, however, that Goreski will go on to become your run-of-the-mill celebrity stylist. Racked (very reasonably) reckons Goreski could be following in Zoe’s footsteps in more ways than one: “No one knows for sure, but who else is guessing he’s signed his own TV development deal?”
