Watch Video for Lil Wayne/Drake’s ‘The Motto’
Weezy and Drizzy = best pals. Their joint song "The Motto" didn’t make it onto Drake’s Take Care, but that doesn’t matter — they’ve released a video for the outtake (via October’s Very Own), in which they pal around with some of their friends, such as E-40 and Mistah F.A.B. (The video is shot in the Bay Area, where those guys are from.) It opens with an inspirational message from the late Mac Dre’s mother, and then it’s off to the races.
The video shows Drake doing what Drake does best: driving around in a leopard print jacket. He gives some shout outs to the Bay Area, which is cute considering his innate Canadian-ness. Weezy comes in wearing a very nice sweater to do his bit, which includes a goofy little dance. It looks like the funnest day at the beach, really, just some bros broing out. Oh, and Tyga shows up to rap a verse, probably the first time you’ve heard him on something since "Bed Rock." All in all, a fun video and a fun song. A+ all around.
