Living on this bus for a month with 11 other people is tight quarters but feels kind of like band summer camp. This is our tour manager Vinnie.
We’ve been obsessing over The Knocks since the release of their summer jam “Classic,” as well as the two diverse remixes they just put out, which you can check out HERE. The group is currently on tour with another one of our fave’s, RAC, putting on awesome shows nation-wide with tour dates below.
The Knocks, formed in New York’s Lower East Side, and will be returning to the city this weekend on November 22nd for what’s due to be an epic performance at Terminal 5. To give a taste of what the tour has been like thus far, Ben “B-Roc” Ruttner (half of the duo) has been taking pics on the road, and we’re pleased to premiere them here with you. Here’s what he had to say about them:
“Before embarking on a month long tour across the country with our friends RAC, I decided to buy a Yashica T4 35mm camera. I have always loved taking photos since I was a kid and am a little tired of taking iPhone photos. There’s something special about not seeing the photo you take instantly and that feeling of getting a roll of film back is something I really missed. Not to mention that this camera has an aesthetic and colors that really can’t be matched by any iPhone with any Instagram filter. Using this camera has become a new hobby of mine that I really love, and when you are going through so many interesting parts of the country and meeting so many new people it’s a great companion.”
