Sometimes, Justin Timberlake’s Brain Needs to Be Turned Off

Justin Timberlake has an interview out with Playboy to promote his new movie, Friends With Benefits, which is basically the same as No Strings Attached, which is to say, it’s a dumb romantic comedy. Anyway, in it, he admits to smoking pot. Yes! It’s true. Someone call the police.

“The only thing pot does for me is it gets me to stop thinking,” he told Playboy. “Sometimes I have a brain that needs to be turned off. Some people are just better high.”

It gets you to stop thinking? It turns off your brain? Funny. I find that it has the opposite effect of turning you into an overly-analytic amateur music critic with a penchant for long, aimless conversations and Funyuns. Either way, it’s nice to see a celebrity admit to being a marijuana enthusiast without a second thought, even if JT seems to be smoking weird Valium-weed.

Now we can play the “Is Justin high?” guessing game that we play every time we see James Franco. Is Justin high in this video?

No, but probably yes.

Is Justin high in this video?

Most definitely.
