Song Premiere: Hear The Chordaes’ Dreamy New Track ‘Is It Even Worth It’

Indecisiveness seems to linger over today’s youth like a worrisome, nerve-racking cloud. Whether we’re deciding on career paths, matters of the heart, or even what food delivery service to sign up for, the plethora of choices is utterly handicapping. New York-based band The Chordaes are on the same page.

Composed of Leo Sawikin on vocals and guitar, Ethan Glenn on drums, and Jesse Serrano on bass, the indie rock trio has developed a cinnamon sweet sound that keeps its manly cool with Sawikin’s perfectly rugged vocals driving each track. Today, we’re excited to premiere their new number “Is It Even Worth It,” an unpredictable and dreamy tune with rich vocal layering, delicate electronic embellishments, and even an unsuspected orchestral flair a few minutes in. About the song, Sawikin tells us, “I wrote ‘Is It Even Worth’ It back when I was a senior in high school. The song is about trying to figure out whether someone is worth falling for or if your mind is just playing tricks on you.”

Check out the new track below, stay tuned for The Chordaes’ forthcoming LP, and learn more about the guys here.
