And today in musical treats, Johnny Marr—"Godlike Genius" guitarist for The Smiths (amongst many others)—has finally sat down to explain how he came to write the somber and iconic ‘Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now." As part pf NME‘s Song Stories series, Marr plays the classic tune for the first time in 25 years and he does it on the guitar which it was written—a Gibson ES-355 bought for Marr by Seymour Stein.
