Fleetwood Mac Will Reunite in 2013
Just in case you haven’t gotten your fill of ’70s AM Gold, you’re in luck. Yesterday, witchy woman Stevie Nicks stopped by CBS The Morning to chat with Gayle King (I mean, you could stop reading now because it doesn’t get much better than that) and reminisce about her days in Fleetwood Mac and her decades-long music career. But most importantly, she casually mentioned the news that the supergroup will reunite sometime next year.
Other topics discussed include "people boinking each other" (good work, Gayle!), her creative sensitivity now that she’s clean and sober, and the recent suicide of former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Bob Welch. Sadly, she does not mention specifically if Christine McVie, who left the band in 1998, will be a part of the reunion, but she does say "everyone’s on board," which brings joy to my heart and the sweet sounds of "Hold Me" to my ears. (The best part of the interview, which you can watch in full below, is when she deflects the suggestion that she was "the hot girl" in the band and makes sure to mention McVie as the other hot girl, or, as I refer to her, the one who wasn’t so obsessed with magic, cocaine, and Lindsey Buckingham).
