B-Real Takes Our Pop Quiz
He’s best known as the high-pitched, weed-promoting front man of Cypress Hill, but this week Cali-native B-Real stepped out with his debut solo album through his Audio Hustlaz label (via Duck Down Records). Titled Smoke N Mirrors, the versatile record evokes the grittier side of life in LA as B-Real sees it, and features guest spots by Snoop Dogg, Buckshot, and reggae artist Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, among others. B-Real plays an album-release show tonight at S.O.B’s and is set to headline the Paid Dues Festival in March, but first took some time to shout out to the Lakers and Van Halen rapid-fire for our mighty, irreverent Pop Quiz.
