The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling are Back in ‘GLOW’ Season 2 Trailer

Somehow, Netflix found the perfect formula in a series about women’s wrestling in the 1980s with GLOW, a scripted series inspired by the wrestling show of the same name, Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Alison Brie leads a cast of fierce actresses as they navigate feminism and Hollywood long before Instagram came along.

Since binge watching season one last year, we’ve been on the edge of our seats for more. And we finally have a trailer to give us a glimpse at what the ladies are up to in Season 2.

It reveals some familiar faces, as well as some new members of the team. As the ladies enjoy the success, they also have to face fame and its consequences. There appears to be a subplot, as well, that mirrors the #MeToo movement, which has become all too relevant since last season.

Season two of GLOW premieres June 29 on Netflix.
