Leonardo DiCaprio Gets Greener

imageLeonardo DiCaprio has a new eco-friendly address. The actor, documentary producer, and environmental advocate has just purchased an apartment in a 32-story New York luxury development called Riverhouse. The Battery Park City building with Hudson River views boasts “high performance oxygen-green condominiums” that incorporates freshly-filtered air, non-polluting building materials, and foliage planted on most of the rooftops. And of course, DiCaprio will be doing his part to improve the landscape, providing downtown with much-welcome eye-candy to soothe sore eyes. But until he moves in, you’ll have to hang around Beantown to catch a glimpse of dreamy ambassador of green. He’s currently in Boston filming Shutter Island with Martin Scorsese.
