In P.S. I Love You, Hilary Swank‘s first foray into comedy, the two-time Academy Award winner plays Holly Kennedy, a young woman who loses the love of her life (played by Gerard Butler) to illness. On her 30th birthday, Swank’s character receives a tape recording from her late husband, pushing her to stop mourning and “celebrate herself.” Hence, we think, the karaoke stills.
