“It’s been fun.” So goes the last tweet made by Alec Baldwin, notorious Hollywood hellion and a true Words With Friends devotee, right before he disabled his @AlecBaldwin Twitter account.

Baldwin had also previously quit Twitter in December when he refused to turn off his iPad on an American Airlines flight during a particularly titillating Words battle (did anyone find out whether he was winning that match after all?).

The 54-year-old hothead recently married decades-younger yoga instructor Hilaria Thomas last Saturday. Prior to disabling his Twitter account, the couple had tweeted matching his-and-hers wedding band photos on Sunday. Thomas’s twitter account, updated to @HilariaBaldwin reflect her new marital status, remains active.

The Baldwins stepped out as a couple in the East Village on Sunday before rushing off to their honeymoon. Dressed casually for the scorching summer weather and accompanied by Baldwin’s daughter Ireland, Alec was ever the gentleman as he buried his face into his new wife’s chest while she took a phone call.

Yet just a few weeks before, Baldwin made headlines for punching a photographer outside the Marriage License Bureau, reportedly after obtaining his marriage license. The star has been known for his erratic behavior and also punched a cameraman outside his Central Park West Home in 2010.

It’s anyone’s guess just how long a serene yogi can put up with such a cantankerous celeb…but we’re betting there’ll be a lot of downward dog exercises in their future.
