The Most Conspicuous Product Placement in Lady Gaga’s ‘Telephone’ Video

The video for the Lady Gaga/Beyonce collaboration ‘Telephone’ premiered online today to much fanfare. Judging by the immense number of page views it has wracked up in a matter of hours, people are loving it. It’s Gaga at her weirdest, most subversive best. However, I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed at the amount of product placement in the nearly 10 minute long music video. The Verizon phone was pretty conspicuous, but when I stopped to look I found much, more more: cell phones, cameras, sunglasses, bread, fake whipped cream…it seems like The Lady is hawking products left and right these days. More power to her, cash money, everyone has to put food on their families, et cetera, but…it is a little gross, isn’t it? Check out pictures of the most conspicuous product placement in the ‘Telephone’ video after the break.
