The Inauguration Up Close and Personal
You would think a satellite image would be the coolest way to relive last Tuesday’s inauguration of Barack Obama. But leave it to photographer David Bergman to trump NASA by using a photo application called Gigapan to sew together a 1474 megapixel photo of the inauguration. That means you can zoom in on thousands of people with amazing clarity and critique their get-ups (President Carter looks like a fugitive). And check out the woman sitting in row 97, 42 seats to the right. Terrifying.
