Seven Hotel in Paris Features Floating Bathtubs Among Other Things
Boutique hotels are always coming up with the most innovative concepts to impress guests, like sensory-touch mini bars, paperless check-in, toilets with remote control pads and, most recently, anti-gravity beds. A little weird, we know, but this is the future, people. And the people behind the Seven Hotel in Paris apparently agree.
Opened last month, Seven Hotel Paris located in the fifth quarter, features 28 “Levitation” rooms where the beds float almost two feet off the ground, and the bathtubs are also suspended in the air (yes, you read right, the bathtubs). I’m not sure what kind of magic wand the owners possess but it’s pretty damn cool. Also completely unique are the flat-screen TVs equipped in every room, and it has nothing to do with the visuals. While the TVs are bracketed on the wall—traditionally like normal modern hotels—they all feature four different channels that diffuse a scent of your choice at the touch of a button. The entire “experience” actually begins as soon as you enter the lobby of Seven Hotel, where a large video screen features 3D images of bubbles so real you’ll wonder if you drank too much wine on your flight over.
