Schwarzenegger Love Child Story Keeps Getting More Lurid

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver separated recently when it was revealed that the Ahnuld had fathered a love child. Radar Online and TMZ are both reporting that they’ve identified the mother, 50-year-old Mildred Baena, a member of Schwarzenegger’s household staff. Now, Gawker is saying that there might be two Schwarzenegger love children by different mothers.

The gist is that Baena and Schwarzenegger conceived their child more than a decade ago while Baena was working as a housekeeper for the Schwarzenegger/Shriver family. The kid is now 14 years old. According to TMZ, Baena (whose nickname is Patty) didn’t tell Schwarzenegger he was the father of the child until well after she gave birth. Schwarzenegger has admitted to the love child thing-a-ma-jig, saying, “There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry.”

Here’s the twist: Gawker had fingered former flight attendant Tammy Tousignant as the mother of Arnold’s love child. They were wrong in that the subject of the original L.A. Times story was definitely Baena’s son, but it’s actually possible that Tousignant’s son Tanner is also Schwarzenegger’s child, for reasons that I don’t quite understand. It sounds like tenuous Gawker tail-covering, but at this point we’ll believe anything.
