Schwarzenegger Aims to Terminate Proposition 8

imageHell’s gotten a bit nippy, and the ever-lovable California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has taken part in a campaign by the New Republicans to urge voters in his state to vote no on Proposition 8, which likens his advocacy for gay rights to Reagan’s in the late 1970s. Earlier this year, he told a bunch of Log Cabin Republicans that he would continue to fight any constitutional amendments striving to preclude same-sex marriage. Inquiring minds (well, yours truly, anyway) want to know if the late-breaking nature of the New Republicans’ effort was intentional, allowing for the fewest members to defect further to the left before Election Day.
