Oprah is broadcasting live from Central Park tomorrow, and you can still get tickets if you’re lucky. She’s doing the show from the Central Park Summerstage and will have a guest list including Mariah Carey, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. She’s also going to announce her latest Book Club selection and has some other “surprises” up her sleeve.
Hopefully the kind that involves new cars, or since the show is New York, maybe year-long subway passes. The taping will be open to ticketed audience members. If you’re interested in checking it out, click on over to Oprah.com/audience and click on Last Minute Reservations for the Free New York City Taping. Then you’ll write your little heart out in the extensive form you’ll have to fill out about yourself and your love for Oprah. If you make the cut, they’ll call you (you won’t call them). Security for the actual show will be tight, so make sure you’ve got ticket, ID and be over 18, or you’ll get turned away at the door. Also, the show starts exactly at 10:00 a.m., so if you’re there at 10:01 a.m., you’ll be SOL. The forecast calls for rain, so plan accordingly.
