Obama’s Tweet About Charlottesville is the Most Liked in History

Here’s a great example of the stark difference between this presidency and the last: in the wake of Trump’s horrific response to the Charlottesville tragedy, President Obama tweeted a three-part quote from Nelson Mandela, the first tweet of which has become the most liked post on the site in its entire history.

 

Here’s what Obama said:

 

Trump’s response to the attack, meanwhile, condemned “both sides” as responsible for the violence that occurred at a white supremacist, Neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, VA.
