Designer Monique Péan and model / spokeswoman Liya Kebede have set the bar high for creating a fine jewelry collection that is both socially responsible and beautiful. Their new collection is made up of impressively ethical materials, including conflict-free diamonds, recycled 18 carat gold, and fossilized walrus ivory. Although designed in Iceland, the pieces were inspired by geometric interpretations of the shape of the African continent.
In addition, 100% of the proceeds from this collection will benefit the Liya Kebede Foundation, which supports maternal, newborn, and pediatric healthcare globally but with a focus in Ethiopia. Now that’s what I call ethical fashion.
Shop the collection now in Barney’s stores, and online in a few weeks.
