After various rumors that former Dior creative director John Galliano was interesting in teaching at a top-tier design school, a memo has circulated providing that it is, indeed, happening in New York. The Telegraph reveals that a memo to BFA students at Parsons The New School For Design has circulated that introduces a new class titled "Show Me Emotion!"—something that JG knows a thing or two about.
"The four-day course will consist of three days in the design studio with Galliano, followed by a critique and conversational Q&A session with the designer and Simon Collins, Dean of the School of Fashion, on the final day," the outlet reports. "Students will reportedly be encouraged to interact with Galliano throughout the four days, using ‘intuition and emotion’ to try and understand ‘the intense pressure of sustaining a role at the very top of the design world.’"
