8-City Scavenger Hunt: April 18

imageWatson Adventures (yes the logo is a spyglass) is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and coincidentally its 100,000th hunt, with a multi-city scavenger hunt this April 18. The city scavenger hunts take hunters through different neighborhoods, offering up interesting and humorous clues about the area, and provide fodder for intense bonding experiences (also, the intense need for booze, since the final destination of every hunt is a bar). This celebratory hunt is free, which is a big deal considering that normally you would fork out $42.50 a pop.

But you’ll have to hit refresh like a rabid tween tweeter at noon on the 14th to score one of the golden tickets (limit two per person). Oh yeah, don’t call about the tickets — they don’t like it. New Yorkers can sign up for three different hunts: The Secrets of Wall Street (I’ll tell you the secret up front, Wall Street is broke), The Secrets of the East Village, or The Meatpacking District Dash. San Franciscans will enjoy the North Beach & Chinatown Scavenger Hunt; DC folks can sign up for the Race to the White House, and of course Angelenos will have the only option of the Hooray for Hollywood Scavenger Hunt.
