With 12 beers on tap (4 of which are served here exclusively) and three sizes for each one ranging from large to ridiculously large, means this place has more steins than lower Manhattan, because pouring Hofbrau in a Jever glass is the Deutsch equivalent of serving scotch in a sippy cup. Formerly Oyster Pond, the feel is beachhouse Bavarian with gray clapboard walls and Oompah music piped throughout. Backing up the prodigious servings of brew is the Germanic gauntlet of stick-to-your-ribs sausages, schnitzels, and krauts. Word of advice: when asked if you want butter or mustard to go with your pretzel, the answer is obviously both.
