Yunnan Kitchen

Editorial Review

Standard Grill alum Erika Chou brings Yunnan province fare to the LES. Space outfitted with reclaimed wood and a bevy of antiques from Chou’s travels in China, heirloom jewelry and a tiger print rug. Thick spaghetti-sized noodles are served the traditional way—cold—with pork belly and mint. Shao Kao skewers and pan-fried goat cheese complete thorough set of Yunnan flavors. Traditional floral teas are lovely; specialty beers even lovelier.
