Williamsburg Flea

Editorial Review

Every Sunday from April through November Williamsburg's East River Waterfront is teeming with open-air vendors. It's just like it was 100 years ago, except these vendors are selling ironic tee shirts, beeswax candles, vintage vinyl, jewelry, and anything else you can think of. On Saturdays it's known as "Smorgasburg," with nearly 100 vendors selling packaged and prepared food and cooking accessories. Shop till it's beer o'clock, then hit one of the 5,000 bars within a four-block radius.
