Volare

Editorial Review

Don’t let the building’s crappy façade fool you: some of Chicago’s best old-school Italian food is just on the other side. The fact that the place is packed every single night of the week won’t necessarily vouch for its authenticity. After all, at least half the crowd are tourists. But that big group of wiseguys in the back? They’re real. You can tell because they’re getting better service than you.
