Editorial Review

Chef from Dévi drops serious Nouveau Indian on midtown. Chic space done up in shades of white and gauzy curtains, like an Indian restaurant that went to heaven. Name comes from holy basil, creative menu is pretty damn divine. Chaat trolley to get you started, follow up with tandoor expertise. Wild boar with apple-cranberry chutney, tofu with tomatillo, grilled chicken and pesto. Signature rum, tamarind, and saffron punch will have you saying hooray for Bollywood.
