East 84th's local. Vest-pocket, mid-block spot with a neighborly vibe. Mural in back shows three Irish blokes ready to double fist a half dozen Guinness, but crowd tends to be younger and more upwardly mobile. Recent makeover has it all spruced up, let's see how long that lasts. Saves staff costs by hosting Thursday night guest bartenders. Generally a chill scene, except when the juke's got U2 on too loud.
