Top Deck

Editorial Review

If you’ve never heard of Jumbo Kingdom, it’s something to behold. It’s an entire imperial floating palace in the middle of the Aberdeen Harbor in southern Hong Kong Island. Queen Elizabeth II has dined there. It serves overpriced seafood that you can get much cheaper on Cheung Chau, but it’s the experience that you’re paying for. Eat at the tacky Dragon Court, or try Sampan Dining and bob up and down on a typhoon shelter flat bottomed boat. But lately the most popular tourist attraction has been Top Deck, on the roof, which serves Western cuisine under the harbor moonlight. You gotta go once in your life.
