Who would have guessed 9C could look this quaint? Reclaimed wood put to “country cottage” ends, complementing weeping willows across the avenue. Battered Yamaha adds atmosphere, trebled when there’s live music in the house. Neighborhood place, but cocktails are next level. Willie’s Sour Cherry Flip adds homemade sour cherry preserves and walnut bitters to cream and rye whiskey. Bar bites to match: root salads, roasted bone marrow, beef tartare.
