The Vintage Inn

Editorial Review

A country inn as imagined by Norman Jaffe, if he got drunk on a jug of Gallo, threw up on the blueprints and Walt Disney had to explain them to Cindy Pawlcyn, who hired Restoration Hardware to build the complex. The 80 spacious rooms overlooking the grounds, and set in clusters of two-story wood-paneled or brick "cottages," offer luxe amenities belying the rustic feel. This is pure country kitsch -- albeit with a high thread count. Each room has its own wood-burning fireplace and ground-floor rooms have private patios, while second-floor spaces are equipped with balconies and wood-raftered cathedral ceilings.
