The Thing

Editorial Review

Here's The Thing: this place is a mess. An ever-growing mess of cheap and vintage magazines, vinyls, appliances, figurines, home videos and photos, Italian stationery, pianos, and a chicken coop. Yes, an antique chicken coop. Mostly, this shop is praised by in-the-know locals for its piles of records, tapes, and sheet music that you can muddle through for gems, which you are sure to find. It's disorganized and chaotic, and the quirky sales folk will do their best to help you, but really, this is an all-day Sunday activity. Sit down in a pile, do an athropological dig, and revel in the legends that lie below. Very, very far down below.
