Editorial Review

Does your local bar have a riot named after it? This one does. While most of today's patrons weren't even born in 1969, it's impossible to separate the Stonewall from its history: cops raided the joint, patrons fought back, realized that civil liberties are worth the struggle. Today it's one of the city's tamer gay bars, and certainly straight-friendly, so drop in to soak up the history, or just sip your suds in peace.
