The Parish

Editorial Review

This is Casey Lane's (from the renowned The Tasting Kitchen) take on a British gastropub, and not only is he paying homage to pub-style classics, but also to downtown vintage Los Angeles in this two-story flatiron building. The daily, modern menu features in-house cured and butchered meats like pork head pot pie and roasted bone marrow. The cocktail & beer menu shines with a rotating tap of local brews alongside complex drinks utitllizing ryes, chartreuse, and even specific ice cubes for certain cocktails. The open kitchen and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the concept true to its casual, neighborhood concept.
