The National Underground

Editorial Review

Country-style dive, shabby chic with design elements courtesy of Natural Light and Natty Bo. Wood-floored back parlor like an Olde West bordello, with readymade makeout nooks. Two-item food menu reads hamburger, cheeseburger. Limited focus leads to better quality (the meat's organic, humanely slaughtered, and shipped fresh from PA). Provides nabe with much-needed roots rock/Americana music injection. Small stage area upstairs for acoustic performances. Second bar in bunker downstairs, with mortar walls as quasi-sadistic sound-bouncing augment to twin black speakers.
