Editorial Review

The Lonsdale, that hip pit stop on the Notting Hill cocktail trail has now just upped it's game massively with interior rejig. Keeping mood lighting and sleek feel, townhouse space has upgraded to grooves and moves bar open till 1 am. New dancing space allows for some fine eating and drinking to go on at  back of bar in plush low lit dining area. Perched on a red velvet pouffe, try one of their famously inventive cocktails with mysteriously named tataki of tuna with Japanese pickles and wasabi. Then surrender to perfectly crisp salt beef, with piccalilli on toasted rye. Smile with pleasure. Wash down with second cocktail, preferably one with french bubbles.
