718 into the 212. Er, 646. Brooklyn-themed bar saves Manhattanites the trouble of a trip across the river. Artisanal BK on display, from Brooklyn Brine pickles to Acme whitefish to Mama O's kimchee. Sixpoint, Brooklyn, and Coney Island on tap. Of course. Dim, comfy space, with Coney Island boardwalk wood on the bar, cool photo booth in back. Wallpaper looks like it might be a fit for Brownstone Brooklyn, but look closer and you’ll see rats and pigeons, to reassure you that this isn’t an overly sanitized take on NYC.
