Lobby bar for the Dream’s not-so-somnambulistic nightscape. Ground-floor sib to rooftop Ava is a nice-sized spot for cocktail slinging. Former Rm. Fifty5 accented in earth tones, from wood floors and ceiling, to leather couches and stools. Palms, candles, Venetian blinds provide a hint of vintage gumshoe atmosphere. Lighted ceiling panels ensure everything feels up to date. Making midtown modern/bearable.
