Flatiron spot expands to epic, Tabla-like space in Tribeca. Two levels of perfunctory poshness, with sage-shaded seats, marble and wood accents. Menu brings together regional Indian specialties. Punjabi goat, Kashmiri chili sauce, pickled venison, okra with dried pomegranate and mango. Glassed-in tandoori oven turns out classic breads, chicken tikka, yogurt-marinated lamb. Not quite as exotic as it sounds, so still safe to bring the midwestern clients.
